CHRISTMAS PARTY

Over 300 children and 200 adults were present at the first Christmas party for children to be conducted by the 2nd NZEF Association, which was held in the Drill Hall on Saturday afternoon. A Christmas tree, over 30 feet in height, was decorated with coloured lights, balloons and parcels, and at 2.15 p.m. Father Christmas arrived and distributed parcels to each child. Organised games were held, and ice creams, sweets and soft drinks were distributed freely.
