NEXT YEAR’S ADMISSIONS FURTHER NAMES ANNOUNCED Additional students have been selected for admission to the Dunedin Training College In 1949. They are:—Beardsmore, Gwenda E.; Crawford, Donald L.; Findlay, Margaret E.; Gray, Marjory M.; King, Raymond J. R.; McPhee. Margaret L.; Matheson, John G.-; Sharpe, Mary I.; Stewart, Helen.
The following are being offered admission to the Auckland or the Ardmore Training College, which one is not yet certain:—Barnes, Arthur- E. R.; Bennett, Edward T.; Fay, Ivan M.; Fryer, Gilbert A. J.: Garvan, Isobel L.; Godby, William X*; Godwin. William H.; Holland, Cyril T. A.: Jensen, 'John T.: McAleese, Clare T.; McClenaghan, Robert: McDonald, Donald M.; Milne, Audrey; Owen, Robert C. Polwarth, Alexander C. M.: Potts, Joyce A.; Shaw, Albert A.; Sturmer, Valerie R.; Wall. Myrtle N.; Weir, William D. Withers, James T. Those admissed to the division C (graduates) course at Auckland are:— Alexander, Frances P.; McLeod, Gordon G.; Quinn, Kevin J. D.; Warburton, Cuthbert W. D. Some additional division A candidates who are awaiting the results of the school certificate examination may still be offered admission to an Auckland college, but a decision in respect to these will probably not be made until after the examination results are known.
