INCREASED MEMBERSHIP
Federation of University Women At the annual meeting of the Otago branch of the Federation of University Women, Miss E. M. Henderson presided over an attendance of 33 members. In presenting the annual report, the president referred to the considerably increased membership and also to the large number of members who during the past year had travelled overseas and been able to enjoy the international benefits to be derived from membership of the federation. A fair held during the year had raised the sum of £BO towards the cost of building a New Zealand room at Crosby Hall, London. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mrs R. R. McNeill: vice-presidents. Miss E. M. Henderson and Miss N. Fyfe; secretary, Mrs H. S. Tilly: committee— Mrs Kane, Mrs Orton, Misses Ballard, Page and Rathbone; representatives on the National Council of Women—Miss E. M Henderson and Mesdames G. Benson and A. A. Orton: representative on the Otago Pioneer Women’s Memorial Association, Miss Hayward; representative on the United Nations Association. Miss Page.
