CLAIM FOR STAND-BY PAY
NON-UNIONIST WATERSIDE WORKERS P.A. AUCKLAND, Oct. 29. Application is to be made by the nonunionist waterside workers in Auckland to the Waterfront Industry Commission for stand-by pay. The unionists receive stand-by pay—two ; hours at the ordinary rate of 3s 8d an hour—for attendance if they are not called upon to work. Non-unionists , are not registered and are not an organised body. I
