MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED
ACCIDENT NEAR KYEBURN Robert Knox Deaker, aged 25 years, of Oturehua, died at 4 a.m. on Monday as the result of injuries received when the motor cycle he was riding ran off the road between Kyeburn Diggings and Naseby at‘s p.m. on Sunday. Mrs Deaker. who was riding on the pillion seat, suffered severe shock, but was discharged from nospital yesterday morning. An inquest was opened yesterday, and was adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given by the. father of the deceased.
