MR A. P. REID
P.A. WELLINGTON, Aug. 16. The death has occurred of Mr Alexander Peter Reid, formerly general manager and managing director of W. D. and H. O. Wills (N.Z.), Ltd.
Mr Reid was a member of an old Auckland family, being a son of Mr John Reid, of John Reid and Co., merchants He served in the First World War, and on his return to New Zealand joined the Wills firm as sales manager, becoming general manager and managing director in 1927, appointments he retained to his retirement in 1945. Mr Reid leaves a wife and two sons (Messrs J. A. Reid and P. M. Reid).
