COMPETING AT SYDNEY
SUCCESSFUL DUTCH WOMAN ATHLETE NATIONAL TOUR CONTEMPLATED N.Z.P.A.—Copyright SYDNEY, Aug. 16. The Olympic woman champion, Mrs Fanny Blankers-Coen, of Holland, will compete in, the Australian championships at Sydney next January, according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, which announces that she has accepted an offer by a syndicate of sportsmen to tour Australia,
A spokesman for the syndicate says that she has agreed to a national tour from Perth to Brisbane, and that she will travel to and from Australia by air. The tour has been sanctioned by the New South Wales Men’s and Women’s Amateur Athletic Associations
