TRAINS CANCELLED
P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 16. - Three main trunk goods trains have been cancelled as a result of the strike in the Waikato coalfields according to Taumarunui railway officials.';- The services cahcelled are the daily trains between Taumarunui and Frankton Junction and the daily train from Taumarunui to Ohgkune. Although coal stocks at the Taumarunui railway yards are. not considered good, it was stated to-day that enough coal was on hand to prevent the situation from becoming serious for a few days.
