FAIR TO' FINE : The official weather forecast, issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington, is:— > Situation.—An anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, but pressure is low south of the. South Island. ; Forecast to 5 p.m.—Light to mod-, erate variable winds; weather fair to fine; temperatures cool to moderate. Further Outlook.—Similar conditions. Weather in Ddnedin.—Dunedin’s spell < of spring-like weather continued yesterday, with bright sunshine totalling 9hr 6min. Temperatures were mild, the maximum being 58 degrees, the minimum 43 degrees, and the' grass minim jm' ..9 degrees. There was a gentle north-east breeze. Pressure dropped slowly during the day, the barometer at midnight reading 30.0 inches.
