ANNUAL MEETING OF DUNEDIN BRANCH

In founding the Plunket Society 41 years ago, Sir F. Truby King took one of the most important steps in Dunedin during the past 100 years, said the Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron, who occupied the chair at the annual meeting of the Dunedin branch of the New Zealand Plunket Society which was held in the R.S.A. social hall yesterday. Not only had the society’s work been of the greatest importance in New Zealand, but its influence had spread throughout the world, he concluded.
