HIGHLAND PIPE BAND

Mr V. E. Doran was in the chair at tile monthly meeting of the North Otago Highland Pipe Band. A letter was received from Mr lan Cameron, president of the New Zealand Highland Pipe Bands' Association, congratulating the members o n their conduct and their wearing of the national dress at the recent centennial contest. The resignation of Piper W. Lawrence from the band on account of ill-health was accepted with regret. Piper Lawrence being thanked for his services to the band. The annual meeting was fixed for June 29.
