HARD OF HEARING LEAGUE

A games evening was arranged by tbe chairman, Mr D. J. Crichton, for a wellattended meeting of the Men’s Social Club, of the Hard of Hearing League. At a meeting of the women's section, Miss Mclntosh spoke on the North Island, and Mrs Richardson, having recently visited Christchurch Wellington, and Waipukurau branches, conveyed her impressions of the work at these points. Madame Winnie Fraser was the speaker at the combined social evening, and gave a vivid description of her world tour.
