SOCCER CONTROL
COACHING SCHEME DISCUSSED At a meeting of the Otago Football Association last night, Mr J. Glen, formerly a professional player in England, gave a talk on coaching. He suggested that a scheme might be evolved in which suitable players just past their best could be coached by him and carry their information back to the clubs. Nothing definite was decided by the assoc.ation at the present stage. Mr W. P. Smith, who was in the chair, reporting on the F.A. tournament at Wellington, said that the Otago team had behaved excellently both on and off the field. A. Murphy, of the Maori Hill Club, was granted a regrading from First Grade to Second Grade. C. Jarvis was granted a transfer from the Hutt Rangers Club, Wellington, to the Technical College Old Boys’ Club, Dunedin. Draw for Saturday First 1 Grade. —Mornin’gton v.
