HOMESERVICEMEN’S POSITION
REHABILITATION GRANTS Replies received from responsible Ministers in respect to conference decisions were not all that could be desired, but there were definite signs of progress in securing for homeservicemen and women an increased allocation of almost everything that came within the rehabilitation grants, said Mr S. L. Henry, vice-presi-dent, at the annual meeting of the North Otago branch of the Homeservicemen’s Association, It was reported that the roll stood at 164 financial members. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr S. L. Henry; vice-president, Mr J. A. Firman; auditor, Mr C. M. Rickman; executive —Messrs W. Kearns, R. Hector, B. Hosking. A. Goodall, and M. Macfailane; delegate to annual conference, Mr S. L. Henry or the secretary, Mr A. Familton.
