Charging a perambulator in Normanby street, Dargavllle, on a recent afternoon, a steer injured its twin baby occupants. Dianne Mary Brophy, aged 15 months, was gored in the chest, and Patrick John Brophy suffered lacerations to a leg. The children were admitted to hospital.
