Oamaru Beats Tainui One of the-best games seen so far this season was that between Oamaru and Tainui played at King George’s Park on Saturday. Oamaru scored the only goal early in the game and was lucky to hold this lead throughout. Results:— Senior A.—Oamaru 1 (K. Sherwin), Tainui nil; Kakanui beat Waimate by default. Senior B.—Tainui 8 (Connors 3, Telfer 2, Bedford 2, Johnston 1), United 4 (Lockett 3, Tapper 1). On their way to Kurow Oamaru’s means of transport broke down and the game against Kurow was not played. Junior.—Oamaru ' 5, St. Kevin’s nil; United 2, St. Patrick’s nil. Unofficial Game.—Kakanui Senior A 5 (Sowden 5), Rovers Senior B 3 (McCabe 1, Wansborough 1. Kennedy 1).
