QUEEN MARY’S BIRTHDAY
P.A. AUCKLAND, May 28. The Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg. has received a telegram from her Majesty Queen Mary in reply to a message sent by his Excellency on the occasion of her Majesty’s birthday, stating: “ My warmest thanks for the telegram of good wishes from the Government and people of New Zealand and from you and your wife.”
