ISOLATED MORNING SHOWERS The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following official weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—Pressure is very lotv to the south of New Zealand and high to the north. , Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate to fresh west winds: a few isolated showers this morning, but weather mainly fair; temperatures cool. Further Outlook.—Similar conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—Fine, tunny weather was enjoyed in Dunedin yesterday, although the air was keen. A light breeze blew from the north-east. Five hours 54 minutes of sunshine were recorded. and the temperatures were: Maximum 56 degrees, minimum 44.8 degrees, and grass minimum 34.5 degrees. The barometer rose steadily during the day, the reading- at midnight being 29.53 inches (1000 millibars).
