Mr Semple to Discuss Central Otago

The Minister of Railways, Mr Semple, has sent a telegram to Mr P. G. Connolly, M.P., advising that he “ will be pleased to meet the combined deputation of town and country interests concerning transport facilities in Central Otago ” when he next visits Dunedin. Mr Semple said he could not indicate at present when his visit would be. A decision to approach the Minister was reached at a meeting called by Central Otago branches of Federated Farmers at Alexandra on May 14, when a representative town and country, delegation was appointed.
