"PROLETARIAN SCIENCE”
, Sir.— Greg .says that Christianity has failed and that the understanding of scientific Socialism Marxianism does away with the need of Christianity I would suggest to “Greg” that Christianity has never failed any man, nor would it fail any nation who would try it, for it embodies the very foflndation of all that is good and pure. It is the essence of love and service, freedom and liberty. It reflects tolerance and sacrifice and benevolence which are the highest aim of all who would make mankind good and happy. The troubles and problems of the world are not due to the religion or philosophy of Christ being at fault, but that men and nations are not big enough to act up to the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ. To assume or infer that Marxianism is a philosophy, creed, religion, or science that embodies a spirit of love and service to humanity is blasphemy of the highest character. To bring in MarxianistnCommunism in this country or any civilised country at this stage of man's development necessitates civil war and upholds the law of the jungle. “ That they should take who have the
power - And they should keep who can. Marxianism aims at destroying private property, Christianity would redistribute and extend private property and wealth. As previously stated. Marxianism is the direct opposite to Christianity in all respects. " Greg ” says that in my previous letter I made an attack upon the Government. Let me assure him I made no attack. I stated facts which cannot be disputed or denied. I am mindful and regret that they are not a Socialist Government for Socialism based on a Christian foundation is the solution of all our problems.—l am. etc.. C. M. Moss.
