Flowers and Veiling Popular on Latest Hats

NOTES FOR WOMEN

The models labelled one, three and four were included in one of London’s latest displays, and were all priced between £1 and £4. Model number one, “ Grandmamma’s Bonnet ” was in natural-coloured straw with a high cluster of mixed flowers and a black tie veil. Model number two, called appropriately, “ Bowl of Flowers,” is a novel style by O’Connor, of London, in pastel pink fine straw decorated with Parma violets and a pink rose, with navy veiling.

Model number three depicts a smart nigger-brown felt bowler, trimmed with pink May blossom, while the matching veil has a flowertrimmed “ dog-collar.” This style in light felt with crimson roses nestling inside the brim has been seen recently in Dunedin. The fourth photograph is of a charming navy-blue felt “ boater,” with side loops of red, white and blue petersham ribbon. A white tic veil completes this model.
