THE AGE WE LIVE IN
Sir,—lf, after witnessing centuries of human turmiol and hunger, there remain any terrestial spectators still interested in the antics of the human family, they must wonder why we don’t tumble to the fact that we now live in a nylonic age, when all our philosophic, religious, oolltical and economic parochialisms ,tand revealed with all their pathetic blemishes. They must also wonder why we persist in chasing the shadow of unanimity instead of the substance of tolerance. After all, we need all kinds of fruits in reasonable proportions to make a fruit salad worth eating.—l am, etc.. A. Caldwell.
