OAMARU SAVAGE CLUB
The opening Korero for the season was held in the Peter Pan Theatre on Saturday evening. Seven new members were initiated by Tohunga J. Macmillan, and Great Chief J. M. McAulay was installed in the chair by ex-Great Chief J. Meikle. The following presented the programme:— Orchestra (conducted by Tohunga J. Macmillan). Savage T. Cahill, Brave G. Martin, Paleface G. Ferguson, Deputy Great Chief C. Jones, Paleface I. McWhirter. A community sing was led by Savage E. R Chapman.
