LETTERS, TO THE EDITOR
TO OUR CORRESPONDENTS.—Owing to newsprint restrictions our space is very limited. Those who write letters to the editor are asked to realise our difficulty and to write briefly. A word-limit has not been enforced, because certain subjects raised by correspondents have been of general interest and those who wrote obviously had difficulty in confining their observations*. If, however, correspondents will not co-operate with us in saving space, an absolute limit of 200 words will be imposed. Meanwhile, letters which are of such length that, it must be obvious to the writers that they exceed a reasonable demand on our space will be rejected without acknowledgment.
