SOME TO-NIGHT The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following official weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—Depressions are moving eastwards south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Moder-ate north-west to west winds. ' Fair to cloudy at first but a period of rain probable to-night. Temperatures cool. Weather in Dunedin. Temperatures were a little higher in the city yesterday and the sun shone for a total' of 4 hours 18 minutes. The highest thermometer reading was 53.3 degrees and the lowest 48, the grass minimum being 45.3. No rainfall was recorded yesterday morning. There was a light breeze from the northeast. The barometer remained steady, the reading at midnight being 29.74 inches (1007 millibars).
