AITKEN. —On May 25. 1948, at Dunedin, Mary Ann, beloved wife of the late Robert Aitken, formerly of Castle street; in her eighty-third year. "At rest.’’—The Funeral will leave our Chapel. 78 St. Andrew street, on Thursday, the 27th inst., at 3 p.m. (service at 2.45) for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. ASH.—On May 25, 1948 (suddenly), at her residence, Clyde street, Balclutha, Jane (Jeannie), beloved wife of Daniel Ash. Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave the Chapel of Messrs Hope and Kinaston, 78 St. Andrew street, Dunedin, To-morrow (Thursday), at the conclusion of a service commencing at 2 p.m.. for the Northern Cemetery. Hitching (Dunsandel), and George Pearse (Auckland): in her eighty-sixth year.
