STUDIES IN FRANCE

NEW SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE P.A. WELLINGTON, May 25. The French Government has decided to award another scholarship this year to enable a New Zealand student to spend 10 months in study or research in France. This was announced to-day by the French Charge d’Affaires, M. Henri Rollet. The university authorities will be consulted in the final selection. The successful student has to be in France by October 1, when the scholarship term begins, and applications will close on June 8. The scholarship will be similar to those awarded last year to S. Cairncross and S. T. Sconnes.
