Religion in education presents difficulties: therefore, throw religion overboard has been the easy solution of Governments since the 187(rs. That Governments have only been evading the problem is now being brought home to them when they want the people to fight Communism—which is nothing if not anti-religious—-when the people themselves have little religion, and would have still less if they had followed the lead of Governments.— I am, etc., M.
