Hidden Arms Discovered in Japan

Men of the New Zealand Field Security Section recently discovered enough hidden arms near Matsue to equip a regiment. The cache was found when the barrel of a machine-gun was seen protruding a few inches above the ground. After digging in that area, a number of various types of arms were unearthed. This was the first of a series of arms caches discovered. The photograph shows some of the guns and ammunition found, all in good order and ready for firing.
