p.A. CHRISTCHURCH. May 23. The first Empire Day commemoration service, was held in the Christchurch Cathedral to-day. There was a large congregation. Britain’s mission was far wider than Britain by geography, experience. practical idealism, and political maturity. Britain had a place to fill which none else could fill yet in the world.
