MEN’S HOCKEY
There were only two games played in the senior hockey competition at King George’s Park on Saturday. The conditions were bad and the slippery state oi the grounds made bright play difficult. In Senior A Grade, Oamaru played well to beat Kakanui under such conditions, and thoroughly deserved its win. ReSenior A.—Oamaru 2 (Brown 2), Kakanui nil; Tainui beat Waimate by default. Senior B.—Rovers 3 (Kennedy 2. Burdin 1), Oamaru 1 (K. Sherwin): Tainui beat Kurow by default.
