GALVANISED IRON STOCKS VERY LOW P.A. WELLINGTON. May 22. There are only 32 tons of galvanised iron in stock in New Zealand at present —insufficient to cover essential repair work. This information was given to the Aid for Britain National Council when inquiries were made of the Building Controller in Wellington about the possibility of obtaining supplies for maize cribs in East Coast districts.
