WILLING BUYERS
RUSSIANS AT AUSTRALIAN WOOL SALES CANBERRA, May 20. Phenomenal bidding by Russia is reported from both the Brisbane and the Melbourne wool sales. Wool experts at Brisbane say that buyers operating for Russian interests appeared to be willing to pay any price to get wool. Bales averaged a record price of £7O —an advance of £2l on the Australian average for the past 10 menths.
