TO-DAY’S SPORTS
Sports in town and country to-day are:— Rugby Football.—Senior, Junior and Third Grade competition games at the show grounds; Waitaki Sub-union games. Men’s Hockey.—Competition games at. Waimate and King George’s Park. Women’s Hockey.—Competition games at Duntroon, Waimate and Orana Park. . Basketball.—A further round in the competition will be played at the Waitaki Girls' High School courts and Hospital court.
Golf.—A Bogey round will be played in connection with the Maude Cup. Association Football.—lnformal games between the Oamaru clubs will be played at Takaro Park.
