COMMODITY PRICE INDEX

PA ' WELLINGTON, May 20. The war-time price index published in to-night’s Gazette, as at March 15 (on the basis of December 15, 1942, equalling 1000) was 1103. This figure indicates that the general level of prices of commodities, etc., included in the war-time price index was 10.3 per cent, higher at March 15 of this year than at December 15, 1942.
