Rec. 8 p.m. COLOMBO, May 19. The demand was poor at the Ceylon tea sales to-day, and withdrawals were heavy. Offerings totalled 3,786,0001 b. High-grown broken orange pekoes realised 170 Ceylon cents, good medium broken orange pekoes 156. medium liquoring broken orange pekoes 142, and low medium broken orange pekoes 140 cents.
