SIX PASSENGERS KILLED

LONDON TO BRADFORD EXPRESS DERAILED

Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, May 18. At least six persons were killed and 60 injured when the London to Bradford express was derailed near Mexborough to-day and five coaches went over the embankment. The accident occurred as the express was passing through a colliery yard. Miners helped the rescue efforts. The second express derailment today occurred when the rear coach of the London to Glasgow express left the rails near Armathwaite, about eight miles south of Carlisle. Four pasengers suffered slight injuries.
