SHOWERS DEVELOPING The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following official weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—A deep depression is centred south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—West to south-west windi, strong to gale force in exposed positions about North Otago. Fair at first, but showers later developing. Further Outlook.—Cold, with occasional showers. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather for the most part yesterday was fair, with the temperature ranging from 50.5 deg to 56deg. There were isolated showers from late in the afternoon, the rainfall recorded being o.lßin. The total sunshine was •three > hours, and the wind was from the south. The barometer reading at midnight was 29.41 in (596 millibars).
