Burglars with a different approach broke into a garage in Christchurch' the other night. The same garage has become used to the visits of thieves by night during the past three years, and it 'was decided some time ago that it would save much inconvenience and damage if the safe were left unlocked as a guarantee that there was nothing in it. Some consternation was, therefore, caused when the burlgars on Thursday night neatly turned the tables on the staff. They found the right key hanging on a hook, and promptly locked the safe. Worse than that, when they left the building they took the key with them.
