(Yugoslavia) defeated Ducilli 5 5—4, 6—l, 6—4. At Prague, Czechoslovakia defeated Brazil by 4—l matches. Vrba (Czechoslovakia) defeated Petersen 7—9, 6—3, 64, 6—3; Drobny (Czechoslovakia) defeated Fernandez, who retired when Drobny was leading 6—o, 4—l. At Stockholm, Sweden established a winning lead by 3—o matches against Switzerland. Lennart and Bergelin (Sweden) defeated Albrech and Hounder 6—l, 6—l, 6—3.
At Brussels Belgium leads Argentine by 2 —l matches. Russell and Morea (Argentina) defeated Washer and Peten B—lo,8 —10, 6—3, 6—2, B—6. At Paris, Hungary leads France by 2 —l matches. Asboth and Stolpa (Hungary) defeated Bernard and d’Estremau 6 —3, 6 —3, 6 —B, 2 —6, 6 —2.
