P.A. WELLINGTON. May 17. What is regarded as a record score for New Zealand since the introduction of Bisley targets was established by an Upper Hutt rifleman, Mr A. H. Linney, on the College Range at Trentham, on Saturday. Firing from 300 yards, 500 yards and 600 yards, Mr Linney scored a remarkable 148 out of a possible 150. He dropped one point at each of the first two ranges and scored the possible at 600.
