HISTORICAL BROCHURE To mark the golden jubilee of the Dunedin Orphans’ Club, a brochure has been issued' covering the history of the club’during its 50 years of ex-

istence. The booklet was compiled by the honorary secretary, Bro. R. C. T. Evans, who has been a member of the club for 49 years, and secretary for 40 years. With such a long association with the organisation, Bro. Evans has an extensive knowledge of its history.

Every phase of the club’s activities ir fully described. The booklet should appeal not onl;' to ,members of the club, but also tc f the public, for, as the Mayor, Mr Cam eron, remarks in his preface, “ the clufc has now become an institution in the city. It is to be congratulated on the success achieved from its pioneer daysto its golden jubilee.”
