OBITUARY
MR G. L. LOTHIAN Mr Graeme L Lothian, who died suddenly at his home in Roslyn on Friday night, was bom in 1883 at Collingswood, Nelson. He came to Dunedin as a child and lived thereafter in the Roslyn district. Just before the turn of the century Mr .Lothian joined the staff of A. and T. Inglis, Ltd., and with the exception of one break of 18 months he remained with the firm until his death. He started as office boy, and was appointed manager in 1925 and made a director In 1936. Mr Lothian was president of the Otago Drapers and Clothiers’ Association for a term, and took a great Interest in the affairs of the trade. He was an enthusiastic member of the Kaikorai Bowling Club, where he had been a committeeman for many years. Other hobbies were photography and shooting. Mr Lothian is survived by his widow and two sons—Mr Graeme R. Lothian and Dr Keith R. Lothian, at present in London.
