The following handicap reductions were earned:—J. B. Spear from 16 to 12. R. Reily 19 to 15, R. Whittaker 23 to 18, B. Dick 26 to 18, R. Aitken 13 to 10, A. Lane 15 to 12. H. Murison .11 to 8, K. Herbert 8 to 6.
