SERVICE RECOGNISED

' Presentation to- Mr J. T. Adams The long and outstanding services of Mr J. T. Adams to the Oamaru Returned Services’ Association was recognised on Saturday night when he was presented with the New Zealand Association’s certificate for outstanding service and the Gold Star Badge. Mr Catto said Mr Adams had held the position of treasurer for 17 years, and had been a member of the executive foils years. Mr N. H. Colquhoun congratulated Mr Adams on receiving the awards. He said that a more obliging member could not be found in the association. Mr J. Dungey (Hampden R.S.A.) and Mr J. C. Kirkness also paid tribute, and Mr Catto then presented the awards.
