PARCEL BOMB CONTAINED DEADLY POISON

LONDON, May 13. Home Office explosive experts reported that a bomb sent to General Sir Evelyn Barker on May 11 contained sodium cyanide, a deadly poison which must not be placed in water owing to its danger of exploding. Such parcels, if only slightly damaged in the post, are extremely dangerous. There is no evidence that the Farran bomb contained - sodium cyanide.
