CLOUDY BUT FINE The Meteorological. Office in Wellington has issued the following weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—A depression north-east of the North Island is losing its intensity and a ridge of high pressure lies across southern New Zealand. Forecast to 5 /p.m. To-day.—Near v the coast, moderate north-east winds, and light winds elsewhere. Weather cloudy at times .near the coast, but continuing line. Inland temperatures moderate. Further Outlook.—lncreasing cloud ■ and north-east winds. Weather in Dunedin.—Brilliant sunshine totalling Bhr 18min brought summer conditions to Dunedin yesterday. A northeast breeze modified temperatures, the maximum being 55.5 deg, the minimum 48 Ideg, and the grass minimum 44.0 deg. A slight misty rain in the early morning totalled O.Olin. Pressures remained fairly steady during the day and at midnight the reading was 30.151 n (1021 millibars).
