On some of the richest land of the Argentine the traditional Hereford breed, which prospers in the dry pampas, is being displaced by the Aberdeen Angus. As with' the Hereford stock breeders are using imported sires to assist in developing a model beef carcass. These pictures show the champion Aberdeen Angus of the Argentine and the champion at the New Zealand Royal Show. The latter, however, is not as mature as the Argentinian.
