MODIFICATION REFUSED

FLYING REGULATIONS INTERNAL SERVICES P.A. AUCKLAND, May 14. Proposals submitted by the. New Zealand Airline Pilots’ Association for modified flying rules to enable internal air services to be continued in reduced visibility, pending provision by the Government of full radio-aids for bad-weather flying, have been rejected by the civil aviation branch of the Air Department. This was announced to-night in Auckland by the association, which said, however, that the Controller of Civil Aviation, Mr E. A. Gibson, hoped that full radio aids would be available on the main trunk route Between Auckland and Dunedin by June 1.
