SCATTERED DRIZZLE The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following weather forecast fo r to-day:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone extends from the Tasman Sea across the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate variable winds, fair inland, but rather cloudy near the coast, with scattered drizzle this morning. Temperatures cool. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Low cloud prevented the sun shining in Dunedin yesterday, and showers of rain totalling 0.04 inches were carried by a south-west breeze. Temperatures were:—Maximum, 52.6 degrees: minimum, 42.3 degrees; grass minimum, 41.5 degrees. At midnight the barometric pressure was steady at 30.3 inches j( 1026 millibars).
